This week, we will explore the Catholic Social Teaching (CST).
Large Group Activity: Around the United States with CST
Choose a state and complete the CST worksheet (which will include watching a CST 101 video and reading about a sacrament): Florida, Wisconsin, Louisiana, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York.
We will also do this activity from the USCCB called “Take a Step.”
SAINT OF THE WEEK:
Prayers of the Week:
Because Mother Teresa had special compassion for the dying, this week, we pray for all those who have died.
St. Francis’s prayer is also relevant this week.
Breakout Options:
Take this poverty quiz (can you beat Anna? She got 5/8)
Play the Stack the Deck activity with your family and friends.
Read the 12 statements from the CST in Scripture worksheet. Then, cut them apart to see who can put them back in order the fastest.
Go to the PovertyUSA website and complete the Two Feet of Love in Action worksheet.
Complete the CST Encyclical booklet using the Encyclical posters (see below).
EUCHARISTIC MIRACLES
This week’s miracle happened in Egypt.
