Read through this PDF and answer these questions:
What happened to you at your baptism? (theologically, based on the reading, but you can also share a personal story— ask your parents about your baptism day).
What 4 things did early Christians do to follow Jesus? (see book p. 6 or Acts 2:42-47) …and how do we do these things today?
Chapter 2 talks about St. Stephen’s witness to the faith, and that he had a “face like an angel.” When bible characters encounter angels, they usually freak out- what does the angel almost always say to them? In your opinion, what do you think angels actually look like?
Read Acts chapter 7. Write a quick list of highlights of Stephen’s speech.
Who oversees Stephen’s execution? (Acts 7:58 and 8:1-3). What do we know about this person, based on these verses?
