6-12: Stations of the Cross

We will begin by praying the Stations of the Cross together. (If you want to pray at home, I would recommend the Formed videos at the bottom of this page.)

Saint of the Week

Prayers of the week

Breakout Stations

Stations stones

You’ll need: 14 clear, decorative glass stones (flat on one side), glue, paint brush, and this printout.

Stations board Game

You’ll need this printout (original coloring sheet from The Catholic Kid; they have other coloring pages available here). You will also need a pen/pencil, crayons, and “meeples” (characters/markers for each person).

Mid-Lent Examen

Use these prayer prompts to make a mid-Lent Ignatian Examen. Learn more about the Examen here.

Are you smarter than your Director of Faith Formation?

Play Number 40, a scrabble-ish game of words and Lent. You’ll need 40 squares of paper (ours were 1” x 1”) and the slideshow below. Click the > button to advance through the slides. (Anna’s score is included at the end of each round.)

EUCHARISTIC MIRACLES

This week’s miracles happened in France (there are 12 of them!). Read the stories here (scroll down to the “France” section), and complete this worksheet.
