Breakout Station 1: Communion of Saints
Review the Church Triumphant, Church Militant, and Church Suffering (see Parent Book p. 223 and Activity Book p. 146-147). Then create a triptych (visual prayer aid) and write, draw, or glue images of people included in each part of the Church. Then, write prayers for the Church at the bottom.
Breakout Station 2: Covenants

Review the Bible stories of each character (tell the stories; if needed, use the scripture verses or see Parent Book p. 64-67 and Activity Book p. 55-59).
Covenants: cut the names apart and reassemble into a grid.
Typology: cut the names apart and reassemble into pairs. Then, put the pairs together in chronological order.
Then, shuffle the pieces and have a race between parents/children to see who can reassemble them fastest!
Breakout Station 3: Remembering the Church Suffering
At church, there is a basket near the entryway that contains Repose of the Soul cards. Next time you are at church, take a card (or as many as you need) and write the names of family and friends who have passed away.
Place the cards in the basket by the altar. We will pray for these people every day during the month of November.
